R.I.P. Cathedral of Joyful Praise

Economic inevitability strikes close to home. That's right, my summer residence and the sight of numerous ill jams over the past 20 years or so has finally succumbed to the economic pressures of re-gentrification and the policies of the quasi-fascist Cabbagetown Historical Preservation Society. Due to insurmountable forces the Cathedral will be shutting its doors within the next two weeks leaving behind only a faint glimmer of the sonic forces it once housed. As for myself, I morn the passing of the COJP but am looking forward to honoring its memory by smearing its sonorous seminal fluid all over the southeast through various upcoming musical projects. And if you have not yet downloaded the Widows album, do it now, as it was the last project to be recorded in the Cathedral. Fly, be free o spirits of Joyful Praise. Gonna miss that free rent tho, ya heard?
