I wont bother going through all this junk, but he Van Allen belt theory is retarded. Shielded by a metal hull and not lingering in the belt you will not be harmed. We know how much radiation is generated by the belt, and so do several other countries that can measure the levels. A satellite shielded by 3 mm of aluminium in an elliptic orbit passing through the radiation belt will receive about 2,500 rem (25 Sv) per year. 100 - 200 rem will make you sick. So you have about 43 days to get through the belt before you get sick, and that's only with 3mm of aluminium!
