man- a killer preview... but unfortunately for not so killer of a movie. i was so pumped when i went to see it, but then when i left the theatre and in the day following i decided that it was mostly lame and made for people who have never even heard of these events or these bands. more than 4 hours of footage was trimmed from this feature for its release, it skimmed over so much interesting content; a much fuller grasp can be obtained by reading Lords of Chaos, the book which the movie is based on. having said all that, it is worth a watch- the parts with Varg and Fenriz are pretty rad. i ain't hatin, just soapboxin'
you'd love it- its great. when you come here next month, i'll lend you a copy or get you one or something. its gonna be so rad when the david returns !
